OVERVIEW

Personal responsibility is the cornerstone of health management, hence to change the paradigm of treating illness to pursuing wellness. The program creates initiatives for healthy lifestyle changes; promote medical defined knowledge and motivate health interventions to reduce health risks as well as overcoming stress. Beyond achieving personal wellbeing, the series will promote family wellness and contribute to community wellness in line with our national policy.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To achieve personal wellness through knowledge of nutrition, fitness and balance of functions.
  2. How to modify health risks to common condition ie. obesity, heart disease, and common cancer.
  3. How to translate personal wellness into work productivity, family wellbeing and positive community values.
  4. To analyse individual health risk status by using “Health Risk Assessment Questionnaires”
  5. and a group report will be tabulated for further planning of future program.
  6. To identify the contributing stress factors using “Stress Audit Questionnaires”, hence specific solutions can be designed.

    COURSE METHODOLOGY

    The program uses mini lectures, discussion, interactive activity and other exciting exercises. We highlight case studies to further enhance participants’ knowledge as well as strategize personal wellness journey.
